I am Pushkar Oleksiy Mykolayovych, a doctor of veterinary medicine, a member of the association “Ukrainian Association of Doctors of Small Animal Veterinary Medicine”. I am asking for your help. Our clinic “Your Good Doctor” has been operating since October 1, 2021, a little more than 1 year in total. We provide assistance to homeless, abandoned animals and displaced persons as well as low-income populations and their animals, we vaccinate and sterilize animals free of charge (in the absence of financial capabilities of the owners), carry out deworming, treatment of animals injured by enemy fire and animal operations. We also try to allocate food for homeless and abandoned dogs and cats, but our possibilities are also limited. Unfortunately, today many animal owners are in a difficult situation, due to constant artillery shelling, many people have left the city and the country, leaving their animals behind. The remaining residents of the city feed and treat abandoned animals, people began to lack funds for full-fledged care. Also, the number of abandoned dogs and cats that multiply uncontrollably, thereby increasing the population of homeless animals, spreading infectious and zoonotic diseases, is critically increasing every day. Recently, the number of animals injured by enemy shelling has also increased, unfortunately, the owners also lack funds for treatment and rehabilitation. We ask you to help us with drugs for sterilization and treatment of homeless (injured) animals, anesthesia, rabies vaccines, bandages materials, suture materials, animal feed.
