Brachycephalic dogs are not cute

“Stop and think before you buy a flat-faced dog”

Some brachiocephalic breeds, such as the French Bulldog, Pug and Bulldog, have become extremely popular in the last decade in Ukraine. This has led to a crisis in the health and well-being of these particular breeds, related to their breeding, sources and internal health problems.

All brachiocephalic dog breeds are commonly associated with several health problems, including difficulty breathing, skin fold infections, eye disease, birth defects, and spinal diseases.

BWG urges anyone considering starting a brachycephalic breed: “Stop and think before you buy a dog with a flat snout.”
